Red Sillimanite Marquise Necklace

A pretty chain necklace adorned with a single ruby red sillimanite gemstone.  

The marquise cut is also known as the boat-shaped cut, the eye-shaped cut, or the navette.   A marquise cut gemstone has an elliptical shape with pointed ends.

Materials: the necklace is made of sillimanite and gold plated sterling silver.

Details: the necklace is 16" long with extension chain to 18" and it has a simple spring clasp.  The gemstone is approximately 1 cm long to give some sense of scale.
