Jodphur Citrine Drop Earrings

A traditionally styled pair of earrings based on an antique nath earring from our extensive collection of Asian ornaments.

Materials: the earrings are made of gold plated sterling silver and are set with citrine gemstones.

Details: the earrings have a hook fixture and the total drop of the earrings is 1.5 cm.

Note from Katie: these earrings are based on an antique nath earring from my collection of Asian Ornaments.   Nath earrings are nose rings deeply rooted in Indian marital and cultural traditions.   Historically they symbolise femininity and marital status and were considered to have amuletic powers.
