Spinel Three Line Rosary Beaded Necklace

Sumptuous, three line necklace beaded with red spinel.  The spinel gemstone beads are wire worked together creating a soft and supple chain necklace.  

These days spinel is a little known gem but in ancient times, South East Asia’s mines yielded exceptional large spinel crystals, which became the treasured property of kings and emperors, often passing through many hands as spoils of war. 

Materials: the necklace is made of gold plated silver and is beaded with spinel.
